If I'm Audrey Hepburn, You’re James Dean
Dear Diary,
I finally had an outing with the girls. They all came from the same hospital that I went to. We all share the same elements of the illnesses we carry the burden of. We all can relate to crying endlessly for aimless reasons. And that is what brings us together. The fact that we can break down in the middle of a public event and then pull ourselves together at the drop of a hat. We are the women that carry this world. We are the heroes this generation needed. But enough of that. I had a cold coffee which I already kinda hate and they decided that putting cayenne pepper in there would be fun(ny ?). There was another drink on the menu that DID include cayenne pepper, but I didn’t order it. My oh-so-very kind friend took it back for me since I am very non-confrontational these days. It got switched to normal cold coffee and then we were good to go.
I’m getting used to this going on and meeting people situation and I’m seeing more of the city I love and call home. I’d love to share it will someone one day. But until then, I have a fab team of gal pals who are my accountabilibuddies now.
xxxxooo Vanessa
